A city that was rebuilt

The Battle of Arnhem in 1944 destroyed much of the city, and the centre was largely rebuilt afterwards. That gives Arnhem its own generation of reconstruction housing: more generously laid out than pre-war work, but wired for a household with far fewer appliances than today. These homes often still have an outdated consumer unit with too few circuits, so we map what is there before extending it.

Villas and outdoor work along the Veluwe

On the edge of the city, in Schaarsbergen and Angerenstein, generous villas sit against the woods of the Veluwe. Much of the work there is outdoors: garden lighting, an outdoor kitchen, a gate or a studio at the end of the plot. We lay armoured cable at the correct depth on a dedicated circuit with its own RCD, so a garden fault does not take out the house.

Consumer units, EV charging and pre-war districts

In post-war districts such as Presikhaaf and Malburgen, replacing an outdated consumer unit is one of our most common jobs. In the new-build of Schuytgraaf the wiring is sound and the question is capacity — an EV charger, a heat pump and induction together need more than a single-phase supply delivers, so we calculate what is needed first. The pre-war Spijkerkwartier, by contrast, more often calls for a full rewire.

Fixed rates, no call-out charge

The same hourly rate applies across Arnhem and the region, including Velp, Oosterbeek and Renkum, with no call-out fees. Larger jobs come with a fixed total price in advance.
