These signs indicate a fuse box replacement is due:

• Rewireable fuses instead of modern breakers
• No RCD, or only one for the entire property
• The RCD trips regularly without obvious cause
• Fewer than four circuits for the whole home
• Brittle, discoloured or fabric-covered wiring
• You want to add an EV charger, heat pump or solar panels

What determines the price?

• The condition of the existing wiring and whether it can be reused
